The C31 Nissan Laurel, introduced in November 1980 as a full model change, embodied the spirit of its slogan, “The Wind of the Autobahn.” It featured a European-inspired design with a flowing yet elegant form, combined with boxy surface elements that gave it a distinctive character.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art turbo engine of its time, the Laurel offered outstanding driving performance. Its refined styling, excellent performance, and well-appointed features helped it gain popularity as a high-end, adult-oriented luxury personal sedan.
