New Tooling Added
The Nagato, the lead ship of the Nagato-class battleships and one of the most beloved warships among the Japanese public before World War II, is now available as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit. This kit accurately recreates her appearance from after the Battle of Leyte Gulf through the end of the war in 1945.
Featuring a well-balanced parts layout that focuses on the ship’s key characteristics, the kit is simple to assemble while providing an accurate representation of the vessel. Newly designed outfitting parts have been added, including the numerous anti-aircraft guns, dual-purpose guns, and aircraft catapults that characterized her late-war configuration.
