With newly researched and redesigned outfitting parts, and the extensive use of slide molds, this series faithfully reproduces the intricate detail of 1/700 scale warships. Experience the rebirth of Aoshima’s precision-engineered 1/700 Full-Hull Model Ship Series.

The destroyer Isokaze, the 12th ship of the Kagerō-class, was built at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal. It fought from the Pearl Harbor attack to the Battle off Okinawa, where it was damaged and ultimately scuttled by its sister ship Yukikaze. This kit recreates the late-war version of Isokaze, with its main gun turrets removed and anti-aircraft armament reinforced, as a 1/700 scale plastic model. Designed with a streamlined parts layout, it offers simple assembly while accurately capturing the ship’s features. Newly designed components include the main guns, machine guns, and various outfitting details.
