Launched in February 1981 with the slogan “Into the Unknown,” the Soarer established itself as a top-tier specialty coupe. On May 7, 1991, it underwent a full model change to become the third-generation Z30 series. Developed under the concept of a “new-generation super grand tourer that pursues romance and innovation,” the new Soarer broke away from its previous image with a bold, curvaceous design that emphasized volume and sophistication—ushering in a new era of elegance and performance.
