Aoshima's Waterline series has been renewed with even greater precision!

Newly designed and re-examined equipment parts have been incorporated. By implementing multiple slide mechanisms in the molds, the intricate details of the 1/700 scale have been faithfully recreated. We are pleased to present the Waterline series, now more precise than ever.

The "Chūyō" was originally constructed as the luxurious passenger ship "Nittamaru", which operated between Japan and Europe. However, it was later requisitioned and converted into an aircraft carrier. While it did not play a significant role in naval battles, it was actively used for troop and aircraft transportation, supporting frontline operations.
