Type 03 Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile, so-called “Chū-Samu" is a Japanese developed surface-to-air missile system currently in service as JGSDF. It entered with service in 2003, and succeeding system is now provided. This vehicle has high extensibility and is used for the Type 12 Surface-to-Ship Missile and Heavy Wheeled Recovery Vehicle.
